Snow and the coldest weather of the season is on the way for northeastern Colorado including the metro area and the Interstate 25 corridor.
A sunny day in Denver on Wednesday, with a high temperature near 41 degrees, will give way to a cold and snowy day on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
“Slick and hazardous travel” conditions will develop along the front range mountains and the Interstate 25 corridor as “a few inches of snow will be possible,” the weather service said. Lighter amounts of snow are forecast for the Eastern Plains.widespread readings in the teens
