In Denver this weekend the weather will be mild, with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of 52 degrees on Saturday and a high near the 60-degree mark on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Forecasters continue to track the approaching system, which could bring several inches of snow and strong winds to parts of northeastern Colorado Monday night into Tuesday.
“Right now, the greatest risk of the more significant impacts is from the northeastern plains of Colorado into eastern Wyoming, the Nebraska Panhandle, and Dakotas,” the weather service forecast said of the massive storm system. In Colorado, northern mountain areas will likely see snow, blowing snow, and hazardous travel conditions as the system moves through the region.
In Denver on Monday skies will be partly sunny and the high temperature will be near 52 degrees, the weather service said. Snow is expected on Monday night, an 80% chance, and the low temperature will be about 22 degrees. On Tuesday in the city, there’s a 40% chance of snow, mainly before noon, skies will be cloudy and the high will top out near 35 degrees, according to the forecast. Wednesday’s weather is expected to include partly sunny skies and a high temperature in the mid-30s.
