Forecasters expect clear and sunny skies with hot temperatures in Denver through the week. cowx

torrential rains and flash floodingWhile rain is unlikely Monday, showers and thunderstorms are possible in northeast and north central Colorado, prompting the weather service to put out a hazardous weather outlook due to potential flash flooding.

The Denver metro area has mild weather in store Monday with a high of 85 degrees, mostly sunny skies and only a 20% chance of rain in the afternoon.Tuesday onward, temperatures are expected to be hot and rain unlikely. Tuesday’s forecast calls for a high of 91 and mostly clear. The chance for showers or thunderstorms is low.

Forecasters expect Wednesday to bring a high of 92, Thursday a high of 95 and Friday a high of 94, all while retaining clear skies that will bring little to no moisture.
