The rest of the week is forecast to be mostly sunny with highs well above freezing and up to the 50s.
Wednesday started with temperatures in the low teens in Denver; the coldest part of the Front Range is in the Greeley area, where temperatures were in the -2 to -10 degree range. The daytime high across the Interstate 25 corridor and plains will reach more moderate temperatures in the 30s.The rest of the week will see similar trends.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high of 56 degrees in Denver. The low Thursday is also more moderate at 35 degrees. The mountains and high country will see temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Some light snow could fall overnight Thursday in the mountains. On Friday, Denver could see some light rain or snow as a small cold front comes through the area, but the high is still set at 49 degrees. Peak snowfall rates in the mountains and Front Range will likely be Friday morning through the afternoon depending on the timing of the front’s arrival.
