This article highlights the dynamic nature of Denver's dining scene, showcasing both exciting new openings and disappointing closures. From Odie B's expanded hours to the rise of unique concepts like Alpaca Chasqui and the closure of Incantation and Sauce on the Rocks, the article paints a picture of the city's ever-evolving culinary landscape.
The Denver dining scene is bustling with both new openings and sad closures. Odie B's, a popular spot known for its breakfast sandwiches and burgers, has expanded its hours to include dinner service. While currently open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Odie B's plans to eventually operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.Beyond Denver's city limits, several new eateries have emerged.
Alpaca Chasqui in Aurora is serving up Peruvian charbroiled chicken, a second Gyros Town location offers its beloved menu in Littleton, Power Cone serves up soft serve ice cream in Arvada, and Yu's Noodle Shop in Lone Tree specializes in Chinese noodles and dumplings.Unfortunately, not all restaurants are thriving. Incantation, a heavy-metal-themed brewery and tea house, closed its doors after just a few months. Founder Sean Guerrero cited lack of community support as a reason for the closure. Another casualty is Sauce on the Rocks in Littleton, a concept from Sauce Family Restaurants, which shut down just seven months after its debut.
