Fog was seen throughout Dallas county early Wednesday morning until the afternoon. The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for most of North Texas on Sunday morning, as visibility on roadways dropped to a quarter of a mile or below.
The Weather Service reminded people to use caution while driving in areas with low visibility: Slow down, use low-beam headlights and keep extra distance between motorists. More drivers may hit the roadways Sunday for post-holiday travel.The fog should clear by mid-morning, parting way for mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the 70s and 80s. Winds will pick up to 15 to 25 mph with some gusts possible, the Weather Service said.
