Denise Richards opened up about wanting to stay on 'Special Forces' despite her breast implant rupturing during the first episode. She explained that she had already gone through four hernia repairs and knew her health was at risk but 'wanted to be able to get out of it what I really, truly could.
"I wanted to be able to get out of it what I really, truly could," Richards said of her time on the competition showLiza Esquibias is an Editorial Intern at PEOPLE. She is a rising senior majoring in Journalism at Pepperdine, where she is the editor-in-chief of the school's magazine.

I could stay in a hotel and order room service instead. So I really wanted to be honest." I had swelling in the area, but it went down and I didn't need surgery again.""I still have to have surgery with my implants," she said. "I just haven't had the downtime yet.
