Dengue cases down 8% last week
The number of dengue cases drops by 8% or 201 cases to 2,319, against 2,520 in the previous week. – EPA pic, January 25, 2023.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, in a statement today, said one death due to dengue fever complications was also reported during the week. “A total of 80 hotspot localities were reported in ME3/23, of which 50 were in Selangor, Sabah , Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya , and Penang ,” he said.
