‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’ Loses Its Top 5 Spot at the Box Office This Week

Gerard Butler’s heist sequel, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, is about to lose its spot at the box office. At the time of writing, Den of Thieves 2 has accrued $36 million at the domestic box office and $20 million internationally for a worldwide total of $56 million, and that $36 million has been enough to earn it a spot as one of the top five highest-grossing movies of the year domestically, until now.

Gerard Butler Is Booked and Busy Close Butler may not have found extraordinary box office success with Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, but he’ll get another crack at it later this year in the live-action How to Train Your Dragon movie that will see him reprise his role as Stoick. The film is coming to theaters on June 13. Butler is also attached to star alongside Morena Barracin in Greenland: Migration, a sequel to the 2020 disaster thriller that’s currently streaming on Max.
