Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT If there's one character in Demon Slayer, outside Tanjiro and Nezuko, who fans simply loved, it was the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, and that passion comes through in a glorious new cosplay. While he might have been a bit quirky, his super-friendly personality, all for one attitude, and heart-warming backstory endeared him to the fan base like no other.
@mocchi.photo's physical resemblance to Kyojuro is uncanny. The resemblance is only made more perfect via the sensational costume design and excellent make-up artistry. When compared side-to-side, there's almost no difference between the manga depiction and the real-life imagery. As the commanding officer of the Demon Slayer squad on site, Rengoku vows that no more civilian lives will be taken by demons on this night.
Intrigued by his confidence, Akaza takes on Kyojuro, who matches the demon blow for blow. While his valiant efforts are able to keep the demon at bay, his inability to regenerate and heal like Akaza wears him down to the point where he is mortally wounded. Nevertheless, as promised, no other civilians died at Akaza hands.
