A Democratic senator has suggested that the party's 2028 presidential nominee needs to be relatable and communicate effectively with average Americans.
A Democratic senator said Friday whomever his party nominates as their presidential nominee in 2028 must be able to 'talk like a normal person.' The Democratic Party has faced calls from a number of its own members since the November election to reinvent its strategies.

Schatz said he is unsure who that person will be for the Democratic Party, adding he will 'never' run for president. But the challenge is going to be, how do you maintain your progressive values and not sound like you just got your post-doctoral thesis in sociology. And God bless those people,' he said. Sen.
