Ryans is leaving a team with a stellar reputation for developing coaches of color. Ryans, Robert Saleh and Mike McDaniel have all left Kyle Shanahan's staff for head jobs in recent years. The Texans, on the other hand, have hired two straight Black coaches before Ryans only to fire both men after a single year.
