Dem Party bosses’ power grip suppresses women in Hudson | Jersey Journal editorial

To see the progress we have made roll backward – all in the cause of keeping the guys in the club on the public pad – is unacceptable and shameful.

To be its most effective, government must be representative. It’s a goal we’ve been scratching and clawing toward since this country’s inception with much progress but so much more still to be attained. Any changes there, though, still wouldn’t affect non-partisan municipal elections in Hudson – like North Bergen and West New York – where Democratic Party-funded war chests tip the scales.
