Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., on Monday jabbed former President Donald Trump over his age, despite having dismissed similar concerns about President Joe Biden.he would not seek reelection after immense pressure from political allies and family members. The 81-year-old repeatedly denied concerns about his age in the weeks leading up to the decision.
“I’m old,” Biden told NBC News earlier this summer. “But I’m only three years older than Trump, number one. And number two, my mental acuity has been pretty damn good. I’ve gotten more done than any president has in a long time in 3 1/2 years. I’m willing to be judged on that.” Rep. Swalwell on Monday took to X to share a compilation of Trump on the golf course. In the video, Trump repeatedly shanks balls and misses his target.
These clips are played alongside video of Trump bragging about his athletic prowess while on the campaign trail. A caption included in the video reads “I think Trump might be lying about his golf game. Let’s take a look #TrumpSucksAtGolf.”The stance is an abrupt reversal for Rep.
