Delta and Shake Shack aim to enhance the in-flight dining experience, offering comfort food favorites at 30,000 feet.
Delta Air Lines will start to serve a new dish for its first-class passengers.The airline said it will team up with Shake Shack to serve its hamburgers at 30,000 feet. The menu option will be available on flights out of Boston starting December 1. Plans are to expand the option to other U.S. cities throughout the following year.
"A delicious cheeseburger is an iconic comfort food – our customers know that which is why burgers are one of the top ordered menu items we offer, and we’re thrilled to elevate the offering with Shake Shack," Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Service, said on the airline's website.The burger will come with a side of chips and a salad.
