Delta CEO Ed Bastian told employees that they would get two passes for travel anywhere the airline serves.
Delta struggled to recover from the botched CrowdStrike software update that sparked an outage of Windows systems around the world. The more than 5,000 cancellations and reimbursements to customers cost Delta some $500 million, Bastian told CNBC earlier this week, and it plans to sue for damages.
