This major airline CEO says that 90% of employees are vaccinated

ASSOCIATED PRESSs it smart policy or clever semantics? Delta Air Lines says 90% of its employees are vaccinated though it has managed to sidestep President Joe Biden’s order for a companywide vaccine mandate.

“We’ll get to 95% next month and then with any additional exemptions, we’ll be effectively fully vaccinated without having to go through all of the divisiveness of a mandate,” said the Delta CEO. So without a mandate, just how did Delta convince the vast majority of employees to get their shots? The airline began by dangling incentives to encourage vaccinations. “But that stopped at about the 75% mark with our population,” explained Bastian.
