Delta and Uber will launch a new travel partnership this spring, offering loyalty perks to customers of both companies.
Delta Air Lines and Uber have announced a multi-year travel partnership that will launch this spring. The program will allow Delta SkyMile Members to earn miles when riding an Uber and ordering Uber Eats. Uber customers will also receive benefits, including improved Uber pickup and drop-off services at Delta hubs. The companies haven't set an official launch date yet, but customers will be able to link their Uber and SkyMiles accounts when the partnership goes live.
Once linked, Uber customers can use their SkyMiles to reserve or upgrade Delta flights, book hotel rooms, and shop with participating brands. Uber riders can earn Delta SkyMiles through Uber Eats (one mile per dollar spent on orders of $40 or more) and UberX rides to and from airports (one mile per dollar spent). Premium rides will earn more miles: two miles per dollar spent on Uber Comfort and Uber Black, and three miles per dollar spent on Uber Reserve trips
