Tennant, an employee of a delivery company contracted with the U.S. Postal Service, was making a delivery on Monday when she was trapped between her privately owned vehicle and a garage. A 911 caller discovered Tennant unconscious and pinned beneath the vehicle and garage. The caller bravely moved the vehicle, freeing Tennant, and first responders arrived to administer lifesaving measures.
Tennant was transported to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
