Delbarton stormed to an 89-81 win over St. Peter's Prep in the team's first meet of the winter.

Bounced in the first or the second round in each of the last three postseasons, the Green Wave are looking to turn the tides of their fate in the water, and it all starts in the first meet of the winter.

Delbarton turned to a pair of sophomores in Dominick Narduzzi and Kenny East to tilt the scale in the Green Wave’s favor. Dalton Brooks followed up his teammates' backstroke victory by placing first in the breaststroke at 1:03.04, and with that, all Delbarton needed to do in the 400 freestyle relay was win the race with their A unit.

The victory ends St. Peter’s Prep’s winning streak of three meets against Delbarton. This program is looking to turn the page, and with a cemented group of newcomers, Delbarton’s potential dominance is only getting started. Ciechanowski clipped a 22.08 time in his portion of the winning 200 FR unit. Delbarton won at 1:31.75 with Anderson Ruhnke, Brooks, and Oshodi.
