The children's book author accused of killing her husband with fentanyl is in need of a new attorney after the firm representing Kouri Richins asked to be removed.The next time she goes to court, Richins is still entitled to representation — however, this will delay the case as a new attorney gets caught up to speed.
"You want to do every case right, but a felony that's a murder, you definitely want to get that right. So if delay helps get it right, then delay is what you have to accept," he said.
