MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Ronald dela Rosa said he would question the Senate when it submits a certified copy of the transcript of the hearing on the war on drugs to the International Criminal Court .In a press conference, Dela Rosa said that if Senate President Chiz Escudero agreed to submit a copy of the investigation conducted on the war on drugs, he would try to question what he would do.
The senator insisted that if Escudero had no problem, this step would be a problem for him because it would appear that he was recognizing the ICC's jurisdiction when President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said he did not.The lawmaker also requested that Escudero first ask what it would be used for and where it would be taken. The Senate leadership should refuse if the certifying person says a copy will be submitted to the ICC.
