Running Oct. 2-7, the fest will include 25 food-related events, wine seminars and tastings, sports tournaments and celebrities

“Honestly, the first year was just kinda magic,” Johnson said. “We put our lives into it and crossed a billion T’s. Obviously we dream of this being a national-caliber annual gathering of food, drink and active SoCal culture. We want people to fly here every year for it. But it was far better than even I imagined. A whole food and drink culture under the sun on that Narnia-like grass, the ocean off in the distance.
