Defence minister visits Butterworth air base

DEFENCE Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob today visited the Royal Malaysian Air Force base in Butterworth, his first after being appointed to head the Ministry of Defence in March. The minister used the occasion to announce the directions of the ministry: reinforcing the Malaysian Armed Forces in terms of assets and weaponry; enhancing systems used by MAF; as well as empowering the well-being of MAF personnel and veterans’ welfare.
