The Jeep was headed south about 7:40 a.m. in Clifton when the deer “jumped or fell off the Route 3 overpass” and crashed through the windshield, said Detective Lt. Robert Bracken, police spokesman. “This caused the driver of the vehicle to strike concrete barrier and then crash into another vehicle traveling southbound,” Bracken said.
