Pony Baseball is just days away from starting their annual summer parade of tournaments
Jace Moore looks like a centerfielder who can cover some ground for the Deer Park Mustang all-stars. Wherever he plays, Jace will be helping the team attempt to go far in Pony postseason action.Welcome month of June, you've got a slew of youngsters waiting to represent their hometowns in Pony Baseball tournament action.
"I think we can be really good. We can mash. We hit a ton. That's what we do more than anything is we hit and we can pitch," said Manager Arthur Sauceda, following a practice at the Ruth Minchen Athletic Complex this week. With above-average quickness, one can see him somewhere near the top of Sauceda's batting order. The roster will also have a member of the Nunn family. Almost everyone in Deer Park is well aware of the athleticism that pours from that family. Luke Nunn is no different. To put it bluntly, Nunn stands a good chance to be a headache or two for opposing pitchers and defenses.
