Harry Styles, Benedict Cumberbatch and a growing number of wealthy homebuyers are calling London's Hampstead 'home'
Hampstead Heath, a 790-acre area of woodlands and ponds.Italian-born fashion designer Mara Girone, 46, and her British husband, Mark Tyers, 47, moved to Hampstead village in 2017 with their two children. The village is less than half a mile from Hampstead Heath, a 790-acre area of woodlands and ponds, and the heath and surrounding areas are a popular respite for London residents looking for fresh air and greenery.
“Hampstead is very green, and the heath is amazing,” explained Ms. Girone. “It is like a classic village, with romantic little shops, but in the center of a city.”
