Stellantis said owners of vehicles built on the STLA Frame platform can expect up to 14,000 pounds of towing capacity and a payload rating of 2,700 pounds. Those figures are better than what some of Ram's current light-duty vehicles deliver. s, albeit with a widened center section to hold a battery for electrified vehicles built on the platform. A full-length belly pan also reduces aerodynamic drag to help maximize driving range. Vehicles based on the platform can range in length from 216-234 inches, feature wheelbases ranging from 123.7-145.3 inches, and sport ground clearances of 6.6-10.3 inches. Stellantis also said tires up to 33 inches in diameter can be fitted.
