A body has been found in the hunt for a teenage suspect who allegedly shot two faculty members at a Denver high school and then went on the lam for several hours. Police identified the suspect hours after the shooting as 17-year-old student Austin Lyle. A body was found in a patch of woods near the car he was driving, howeverhave not confirmed the identity.
” Unidentified law enforcement sources however confirmed tothe body was that of Lyle. The shooting took place around 9:50 a.m. at East High School and occurred during a “security search” of the student, which was a regular protocol due to his behavior, Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas Thomas said. As of Wednesday evening, one victim was in serious but stable condition, while the other was in critical condition undergoing surgery.
