In all three cases stretching back to April, police said, the suspect gained entry through an unlocked window before sexually assaulting the victims.
Decatur police on Wednesday said they are searching for a serial rapist who sexually assaults his victims during burglaries over the last eight months.
The suspect has been described by victims as a Black male between the ages of 20 and 45, about 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 9-inches tall with a slender to medium build.Decatur police urged residents to lock their doors and windows, especially during the night. The burglaries and sexual assaults continued Dec. 7 on Hay Drive SW and again early Saturday morning on 2nd Avenue SW.
