'Those who knew Michael, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.'
INDIANAPOLIS -- One of Michael Jent's proudest moments in the pool was one of his last. No one knew that last month as Michael, excited and nervous, got ready to swim the 200 butterfly at the Holiday Season Slam in Franklin. He was excited and nervous because he was going for a senior state cut time.
"His brain has some bleeding and there are measures they can’t take to prevent that due to other injuries being so critical," his mom, Renee, posted on Facebook Saturday. "They probably didn’t notice but our families with Logan and Aiden were able to watch from a distance," Renee posted."And we feel very loved."
On his first day in Carmel Swim Club’s Senior 2 training group, Michael shared with Pulley that, by his senior year, he would be in the Senior 1 group.
