Auburn football coach Hugh Freeze opened Monday’s press conference with a dedication for Caden Tellier.
Morgan Academy's Caden Tellier died following an injury in the third quarter of Friday's high school football game. .died on Friday after suffering a critical brain injury during his team’s game against Southern Academy in Selma.
Dr. Bryan Oliver, who serves as head of school at Morgan Academy, said the school will cancel all athletic activities for the next week, including Friday’s scheduled football game at Wilcox Academy. “I could tell you a lot about who my son was, who my son is. My son was an exceptional athlete. But the thing he loved the most was to talk about Jesus.”“Our boy, Caden Tellier has met Jesus face to face. We appreciate all of your prayers, and we covet them for the hard days ahead. Everyone who knows Caden has known kindness, generosity and love, and true to his nature, he is giving of himself one more time.
