Guard Lexie Brown, whose fourth 3-pointer of the game put the Sparks ahead to stay at 68-67 with 7:42 left in the fourth quarter, had 16 points and six assists. Sparks guard Layshia Clarendon’s layup capped a 9-0 run that pushed the Sparks’ lead to 74-67 with 4:59 left. Wings All-Star Arike Ogunbowale, who finished with 22 points on 10-for-28 shooting, got Dallas within 75-72 with 1:35 left, but Brink answered with a layup to make it 77-72 with 1:18 remaining.
