Deadpool and Wolverine save the Marvel Cinematic Universe multiverse in a new Deadpool 3 fan-made trailer. While Ryan Reynolds will get to finish his Deadpool trilogy, Wade Wilson is about to start a new chapter. Deadpool 3 will introduce Wade into the MCU, following the end of the old X-Men cinematic universe. Shawn Levy is attached to direct the Deadpool threequel, which is set to film this year.
In Deadpool 3, Wade will be united with a major fan-favorite as Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine. Screen Culture recently released a Deadpool 3 fan-made trailer as a proof of concept for what the film might focus on. The footage also sees the former FOX characters engage with Loki's Owen Wilson character, Agent Mobius.How Deadpool 3 Will Handle The MCU Multiverse The biggest mystery is how Deadpool 3 will tackle the MCU multiverse in a way that also makes sense. What is known so far is that there will at least be some elements of time travel.
Looking at the past Deadpool movies, it wouldn't be shocking if they crossed over in a comedic way. Something as absurd as Deadpool watching the MCU on his TV and then just crawling into the box would be in character for him. On the other hand, Deadpool 3 might rely on an MCU concept to properly get Wade into the franchise.
Whether that would be continuing off from Loki season 1, Kang, or something else remains to be seen. Either way, it'll be intriguing to see how Wade engages with the MCU after the events of Deadpool 3. With filming happening this year, hopefully some Deadpool 3 set photos may give some clues to that mystery.
