Close Deadpool learns about his daughter’s superpowers when she teleports to his location to help him fight crossbones. She’s injured in the fight, but after it ends, Deadpool sees that Ellie can heal just like he can. Then, when they go back to their safehouse, Taskmaster notes that Ellie learns things “a little too fast”, and that she is “hyper-receptive” and that it’s likely a byproduct of her healing factor.
Deadpool’s Daughter, Ellie, Just Became the Deadliest Next-Gen Hero After Taskmaster assesses Ellie’s powers, and after she proves herself in battle against Crossbones, he agrees to train her so that she may reach her full potential. Like Taskmaster, Ellie’s ‘hyper-receptiveness’ gives her the ability to learn anything, including fighting styles, just by watching them.
