Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick talk about the possibility of Chris Hemsworth's Thor appearing in Deadpool 3. Now as part of Marvel Studios, Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson is set to make his MCU debut through the threequel. No release date has been set, but Deadpool 3 has been in development for quite a while now.
Disney's historic acquisition of Fox's movie and TV assets paves the way for the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and all their tie-in characters to appear in the MCU and interact with its heroes. The Fantastic Four is already going to be rebooted, and chances are that the X-Men will also follow suit in some capacity. Deadpool and his franchise, however, will essentially be absorbed into Kevin Feige's universe. Deadpool 3 will be the first R-rated film under Marvel Studios.
Seeing Thor interact with Deadpool in Deadpool 3 would definitely be a sight to see. This is especially so given the God of Thunder's more humorous persona after Thor: Ragnarok. But aside from that, it's also one of the most effective ways to highlight the fact that the Merc with a Mouth is now in the MCU.
