Houston police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in the Galleria area of Houston on Thursday evening. Around 5:30 p.m., a man was brought to an emergency clinic located near San Felipe and Post Oak by another man. The arriving man carried the wounded individual into the clinic and handed him over to the staff. Medical personnel immediately attempted to provide treatment and contacted the Houston Fire Department. Tragically, the injured man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
At this stage, the exact location of the shooting remains unclear. Authorities are actively investigating reports suggesting the incident may have taken place at a nearby restaurant. While the identity of the deceased man and a detailed description have not been released, police are also working to identify the individual who transported him to the clinic. It is reported that this man left the scene after dropping off the victim. Notably, the gray pickup truck used by the two men was still present in the parking lot. Adding another layer to the investigation, Houston police received reports of potential gunfire at a restaurant situated near Westheimer and Post Oak.
