UPDATE: The man was found in the bushes outside of a house Monday morning.
– A man was found dead with gunshot wounds outside of a house Monday in north Houston.A caretaker found the man around 9:10 a.m. in the bushes of the house where his elderly client lives, according to the Houston Police Department. The homeowner does not know the victim.The man who was killed has not been identified.
Police said they do not know where the shooting happened, but they believe it possibly started in the street and the man eventually came to the house. Law enforcement is still trying to find witnesses and will continue to speak to neighbors to gather more information. Detectives did not release additional details.Homicide detectives are en route to a residence in the 4900 block of Cruse Rd. near Lockwood Dr. after a male was found deceased outside the home about 9:10 am.
