Federal officials are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to a conviction after a young dolphin was found shot to death on a Louisiana beach last month.
NOAA Fisheries said the dead bottlenose dolphin was reported on West Mae’s Beach in Cameron Parish , Louisiana on March 13.CAMERON PARISH, La. – The dolphin was recovered and taken to the Audubon Nature Institute in New Orleans for a necropsy.
The NOAA’s Office of Law Enforcement is now investigating and asking the public for any information about the dolphin’s death.
