David de Gea appears to have branded the ongoing saga within the Spanish FA a circus.
The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation , Luis Rubiales, has come under serious fire for kissing Spain women's star Jenni Hermoso on the lips in the World Cup trophy ceremony.Credit: TWITTER:@SHESCORESBANGERSThere were calls for Rubiales to resign following the incident and a general assembly was called, with the media briefed the Spanish football chief would leave his position.
Meanwhile, Spain international Borja Iglesias, who has played for the men's team as recently as this year, stated he would not be playing for his country again until 'things change'. Writing in Spanish on Twitter, the Real Betis star said: "I am sad and disappointed. As a footballer and as a person I don't feel represented by what happened today in the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas. I find it unfortunate that they continue to press and focus on a colleague.
"Wearing the Spanish National Team shirt is one of the greatest things that has happened to me in my career.
