While the show was announced over a year ago during Gunn and Peter Safran's original DC Studios announcement, the Paradise Lost project has yet to get a proper pilot or series pick-up by Max. Whether or not there is a writer attached to Paradise Lost remains to be seen, as there have been no official reports of anyone getting hired to write/executive produce the Wonder Woman prequel.
✕ Remove Ads It's possible that Paradise Lost is being eyed to arrive later in the DC Universe's Chapter 1:"Gods and Monsters" slate, with upcoming DC releases like Lanterns currently getting ready to start production in 2025 in order to premiere in 2026. However, it is also possible that if things don't move in the right direction for Paradise Lost behind the scenes, the show could get scrapped.
