However, this hasn't always been the case in DC animated and live-action TV shows, and it's also not true in several continuities of the DC Comics source material. Recently, Titus Welliver and Michael Cudlitz have brought bulkier Luthors to live action, backing up their mental prowess with seriously intimidating silhouettes. Moreover, the Lex Luthor in the iconic Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League animated TV shows is drawn to be a man in his physical prime.
