DCEU's Supergirl Actor Shares Advice For Her DC Universe Replacement
DCEU star Sasha Calle responds to Milly Alcock starring as Kara Zor-El in the DC Universe film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. One of the most highly anticipated films coming out of Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" is Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, set to feature Alcock as the next live-action version of Krypton's last daughter. Production is expected to begin in late 2024/early 2025, as Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is currently slated to release in June 2026.
In James Gunn's DC Universe, Supergirl will exist at the same time as Superman, who will be played by David Corenswet in the 2025 film. Alcock's Kara will also be heavily influenced by the version that headlines the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic, on which her solo film is based. Gunn has also stated that this Supergirl will be "a much harsher and more f—ked up Supergirl than we've been used to this far.
