Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Not many people were scared of this Batman villain – until he got his hands on a Black Lantern Ring, turning him into a formidable threat in the process, while also making him legitimately spooky for the first time. Arnold Wesker, known as the Ventriloquist, and his dummy Scarface, truly took their place among the Caped Crusader's rogues' gallery when Wesker became a Black Lantern.
The resurrected villains included long unused characters such as the Trigger Twins, Blockbuster, and surprisingly, the most terrifying, Albert Wesker. While Wesker was someone that no one took seriously in life, in death he became one of Batman's most horrifying villains, at least for a little bit. Related Aquaman's Black Lantern Upgrade Gave Him DC's Most Terrifying Power He may get laughs from his ability to talk to fish, but a Black Lantern Aquaman shows how horrifying his powers can be in Blackest Night #2.
Arnold Wesker was a man with a dual personality. One part of him was the harmless Arnold, who couldn't hurt a fly, while the other was the brutal mobster Scarface. Wesker often claimed that it was Scarface who forces him to commit the crimes that he did, even going so far as claiming to just be a hostage of Scarface. While this clearly wasn't true, it made Wesker easy to deal with if he was simply separated from Scarface.
