DC's Supergirl Movie Gets First Major Update In 4 Months_ Villain Casting & Filming Start Revealed
The new Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow movie adds its first new cast member after the Girl of Steel herself in the upcoming DC Universe installment. While James Gunn's Superman movie will be the first film to release as part of the DCU Chapter 1 Gods and Monsters, Kal-El won't be the only Kryptonian in the new franchise. Krypton's last daughter, Supergirl, is also getting her solo film, as Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is currently in pre-production.
Krem of the Yellow Hills is the main villain of the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comics series by Tom King and Billquis Evely, on which the DC movie is based. In the comic, he kills the father of a girl who seeks out Supergirl's help, and has his own run-in with the Girl of Steel that prompts her to hunt him down.

With Krem finally cast, it remains to be seen who else will be cast in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, especially for the role of Ruthye Marye Knoll, who is the character that seeks Supergirl's help in the original comic.
