DC has a new Justice League movie on the way, but it simply cannot outdo the Arrowverse's major Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT DC's upcoming Justice League movie can't outdo the Arrowverse's perfect Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. DC is getting ready to change in big ways, with James Gunn and Peter Safran taking charge of DC Studios as its co-CEOs in order to reestablish the comic book giant as a major force in the cinematic space after years of divisive movies.
Arrowverse's Crisis Event Had Years Of Build-Up The Arrowverse took several years before reaching its Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, which was the last major crossover event in the shared DC TV universe. The Arrowverse started back in 2012 with the first season of Stephen Amell's Arrow.
The upcoming animated Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths film does not have the same kind of build-up the Arrowverse had before releasing its own version of the iconic DC Comics event. The current animated DC movie continuity is called the Tomorrowverse by fans, named after the first movie of the shared animated universe, 2020's Superman: Man of Tomorrow.
