2024 has been a HUGE year for DC's Lobo, who has come in swinging into main continuity like a wrecking ball. The bounty hunter for hire notably starred in the Superman story arc, House of Brainiac, and the three-part Green Lantern story arc, Guy's Bogus Lobo Adventure. Despite both storylines having concluded in June, DC is far from finished with Lobo and promises to bring him back for his own scummy special.
On September 25, 2024, DC fans will have the chance to grab a copy of Kyle Starks and Kyle Hotz’s Lobo Cancelation Special #1, dubbed by DC as their "scummiest comic" of the year. This bold claim raises anticipation for the comic’s release, leaving fans to question if the publisher will truly deliver on its promise of presenting a comic that is as R-rated as it is teased to be.
