DC just introduced what seems to be its most powerful human ever. Charlie Walsh is just a kid, but WildC.A.T.s 3 reveals that if he dies, a Crisis-level event will engulf the multiverse, and the Earth itself will be destroyed.
Warning: contains spoilers for WildCATS #3!In WildCATS #3, DC Comics has just introduced its most powerful meta human ever - one capable of altering reality itself. In WildCATS #3, the team is dispatched to locate and rescue a mysterious child, one they eventually learn is capable of creating Crisis-level events. DC fans know the term "Crisis" is not used lightly, and indicates this child is capable of destroying not only Earth, but the multiverse as well.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY The issue is written by Matthew Rosenberg, drawn by Stephen Segovia, colored by Elmer Santos and lettered by Ferran Delgado. The Halo Corporation, the power responsible for the WildCATS, are sent to retrieve a "package." They are not briefed on what exactly the package is, but are told it is "easy to spot." After breaking into the building, the team is confronted by armed guards.
Crisis-Level Powers Are as Extreme as It Gets In the DC Universe, the term “Crisis” usually signifies a major event which changes the natural order of the multiverse. Crisis on Infinite Earths may be the best known of these; it was the miniseries that redefined the DC Universe for the modern era.
It takes a special kind of villain to bring the multiverse to its knees - indeed, only DC’s heaviest hitters, such as Darkseid, the Anti-Monitor and the Batman Who Laughs, have set their sights on the multiverse in the past. Each of these are cosmic-level villains, with a deep understanding of the multiverse, and yet they still had to expend everything they had to bring about their Crises.
