This is a big year for the Man of Steel as fans everywhere eagerly await his brand-new movie. But a flagship series is looking back on Clark Kent's origins and seeing what made him the hero he is today.

Starting with Action Comics #1087, Waid and Patridge will weave a story of a younger, more inexperienced Clark, who struggles with his developing powers.
