Dax Randall Shepard (born January 2, 1975) is an American actor. Shepard was born in Milford, Michigan, and attended Muir Junior High. and Walled Lake Central High School, before enrolling in The Groundlings school. He later received a degree in anthropology at UCLA. Shepard was an actor on Punk'd with Ashton Kutcher.
